On December 19, the online event “Perspective and challenges of Polish-Ukrainian cross-border logistics and trade” was organized by EEN-Ukraine as part of the EU-Ukraine Solidarity Lanes platform. The participants learned about the causes and consequences of the restriction of Ukrainian exports to Eastern Europe due to the protests of road carriers. This is an important obstacle for Ukrainian and international partners to continue uninterrupted operations, as well as to develop possible ways and opportunities to solve the problem. The participants of the event discussed the situation related to the blocking of Ukrainian border crossing points, the impact of import restrictions on the economies of Ukraine and the EU, alternative logistics routes for exporting Ukrainian products, as well as opportunities for cooperation and support between Ukrainian and European partners. They also had the opportunity to present their commercial offers, prices and destinations on the EU-Ukraine Solidarity Lanes Business Matchmaking Platform. The event was useful for popularizing Ukrainian organizations at the international level, finding business partners and new markets, developing business and exchanging experience with professionals.
